The boys and Rich came to Mommy's performance of "The Creation" last night! Sam got to have a special night with Granna and Granpda! It was Max and Luke's first time seeing me perform with the symphony. They really liked the whole experience! We started off the night with a yummy dinner at Red Lobster (see Max touching the Lobster - he named him "Pablo"), then off to the concert! Rich was texting me throughout the concert giving me an update on how they were doing.....at intermission he said "They very sleepy.....". They had some nice little naps throughout the performance :)
Luke was really cute about the whole thing - he had no idea what to expect (Max has been to symphony performances, so he knew what it would be like) - Luke asked me yesterday, "Can someone go to the symphony with bug bites on their legs?" Not sure what that meant, maybe because I kept talking about how still and quiet one has to be in the audience - and he may need to scratch his bug bites - bless his heart! When I asked them this morning what they thought - Luke said, "It was WONDERFUL!" and Max said, "I really liked it Mom, maybe next time we could go to an afternoon show?"
