A Day with Aunt Annie

My Christmas gift to each of my nieces was a coupon for "A Day with Aunt Annie". They can choose whatever they want (pedicure/manicure, lunch, shopping, movie, etc...their choice!). Kirsten called first, and chose a manicure/pedicure on December 31...her actual 8th birthday!
It was a fun Christmas/Birthday celebration!

We celebrated Christmas Eve with my family. We all attended church (ALL of us, Rich's family AND my family...it was AWESOME all sitting together!), and then we headed back to mom and dad's for some fun.

Webb Family Christmas 2010

We celebrated Christmas with the Webb family on Wednesday, December 22. It was so wonderful! An added special treat, was having the kids perform for us. Luke and Kirsten have been working really hard at weekly piano lessons with Grandma Joan. Max and Annika have been working hard at weekly guitar lessons with Uncle Adam, as well! It was time for their first recital to show off what they have learned!

More of a MOB than a FLASH...

Many choirs from all over Arizona (churches, high schools, symphony chorus, community choruses, etc.) invaded Scottsdale Fashion Square on Wednesday! This was supposed to be a "Flash Mob", where we would spontaneously stand up and all start singing and totally SURPRISE everyone else that was just eating in the food court. But....everyone knew about it (the news actually announced on the morning program that this was going to be happening at noon!). It was still an unbelievable moment! I found it SO COOL to be singing with 1,000s of other singers, and that people were actually interested in seeing (and hearing) this awesome moment!

Fun was had by all! Spencer and Cyndi opened up their home for our annual Christmas party! We had a great time of food, silly games, a GREAT white elephant exchange ("Shake Weight"....need I say more?), and FUN with our friends.

Sweetly Singing in the Choir...

Oh how I have LOVED watching Luke perform with the Holiday Singers! He totally comes out of his "shell" when he gets up in front of people.....I love it! I will NEVER forget watching him sing "The 12 Days of Christmas"...he had so much fun with it. They sang at a nursing home, caroled through the halls at school, and did a "sing along" for the school. Sweet memories. Luke LOVES to perform just like his mama.....yeah!

Happy Holidays with the Homegroup!

We had a great time celebrating Christmas with our homegroup tonight! Thank you SO much to Mike and Debbie for opening their awesome home to all of us! We enjoyed food, a fun family gift exchange, and each other!

After Saturday's Messiah performance, Ellen hosted a super FUN party.
It was a GREAT performance.....time to celebrate with GREAT friends!

Great firsts....Great last!

It was another FUN FILLED day of sports for the Webbs! Now we are onto a different sport....basketball! FIRST games of the season for both Max and Luke. Max had his LAST football game of the season! Luke scored 4 baskets in his game, and they WON. Daddy is Max's coach, and had to coach without his star player, Max, because Max had to be at his last football game early.....and they WON. We all joined together again at Max's football game where he scored a touchdown, had the BEST tackle of the season, and just played his little heart out.

What a way to ring in the HOLIDAY!

We had such a wonderful time at the Symphony today. We attended the Home for the Holidays concert with my friend, Maestro Bob Moody! It was WONDERFUL! The lobby was open for an hour before with activities for the kids...complete with Santa Claus himself! The concert was so great, we ALL really enjoyed it! The best surprise of all was that Luke got to CONDUCT the Symphony! He was chosen by Bob before the concert! I think we have a little Maestro on our hands....it was a great way to kick off Christmas time!

My dear friend, Michelle, is starting chemo on Monday for breast cancer. We threw her a HAT SHOWER! What a sweet time it was loving on our sweet friend. Michelle is a beautiful, strong woman of God. She is entering this with tremendous faith, strength, and courage. We love you, Michelle! We are with you every step of the way!

We had a great time at the Tollefson's Home again this year. All 30 + of us! The kids put on their annual play, which was a huge success!
Great food, family, friends, and FUN. I'm so thankful.

Sam and his friends enjoyed a Thanksgiving Feast at school today...

"Turkey" nuggets, corn on the cob, apples and pumpkin pie!

Each kid went around and told what they were thankful for.....toys, brothers and sisters, chicken nuggets, etc were some of the things said. When it was Sam's turn, he looked at Rich and I and said, "I'm thankful for my family." Sweet boy.

Sam talks about "Laney" ALL the time. He is very thankful for his special friend, too!

Perfect Day for the Park...

Sam's Preschool (Kids Discovery Club Christian Preschool) put their learned Indian skills into action on their field trip to the park on Thursday. What a sweet, precious time with my little Sam and his friends!
