In 2005, Max's Kindergarten class took a field trip to Mother Nature's Farm! Each student picked the perfect pumpkin for them, and got to paint them. It was messy, took a lot of patience and time, but totally worth it.

Here's Sam decorating his pumpkin 6 years later, at the same place! Life is so RUSHED now, everyone's in such a HURRY to just be done and move on to the next thing. There's no more painting the pumpkins; now the farm give the kids stickers to decorate their pumpkins. Everything's so QUICK and EFFICIENT....I MISS taking our time, getting a little messy, and "letting the paint dry"...
