The boys all had their visits to the Dentist this week! All VERY successful! Yippee! The Dental Hygenist and Dentist were VERY impressed at how well all the boys take such good care of their teeth. Yeah, boys!
Max....ay yi yi with this mouth....we need to start the "Max mouth fund" immediately...the poor child has a mouth full of MISSING TEETH! Seriously....9 missing grown up teeth. The x-rays are amazing..there are all these little baby teeth (that he still has, bless his heart), with complete blackness underneath them! He will be quite the sight in junior high, when we start all this madness of fixing his mouth (thank goodness we have a few years until we have to start this!).
Luke...he got the lecture from the dentist this time on the sucking of his thumb. He stressed that it is really important to really TRY HIS HARDEST to stop. Bless his heart....he's REALLY TRYING. Thank goodness we don't have to take any MAJOR steps in the process, YET! He was not a fan of the x-rays this time (said the bite wings that he had to bite down on REALLY hurt)...
Sam...HIS FIRST VISIT! This was called a "Happy Visit"....just getting him familiar with the chair, utensils, Dentist, etc. - they didn't do a cleaning this time, they just got him familiar with everything and not scared. He loved it, and did GREAT!
Wow....that light is bright!

Very cute pix of the boys at the dentist. Glad Sam liked it. Thumbs up! Yes, I agree with Luke: the bite wings hurt, especially small mouths.
And I'm sorry about the 9 missing teeth for Max. It's totally a bummer that he has to go through this. I wish Grandma Joan could do something. But of course, I can't. Just like any of us. Going to be an adventure.
