Presenting....One PROUD Preschooler!

Apple to Zebras Preschool Program Day today!

Sam was SO proud of his "show", and wanted everyone to be there! We let Max and Luke go to school a little late so they could watch their little brother. It was a precious program! They sang sweet songs, and each child got a certificate. Sam was so excited to finally have "his show"...he's always at his brothers' and cousins' "shows", sporting events, etc. It was so fun to have something of his own that people could come and watch HIM!

A lovely night at the THEATRE....

The RASMUSSEN Theatre put on a LOVELY performance tonight! My sweet nieces performed "And When You Pray" from Adventures in Odyssey....it was GREAT! All 3 girls, Annika, Kirsten and Lesia did EXCELLENT. They definitely have their mommy's genes....all little actresses! Lynnette was a WONDERFUL director, and it was a truly beautiful night!

There was a little talent show before the play started...Kirsten and Grandma Joan played a lovely duet!

Lesia the "Grandpa" and Kirsten the "boy"
Annika the "coach"
Annika the "restaurant owner" and Kirsten the "boy"
A job well done!

It's Official!

My sweet niece, Julia had her "bridging ceremony" tonight! She is officially a GIRL SCOUT now! Its so special that Lynn is her troupe leader. I remember my bridging ceremony in Candy Nichols back yard in the 4th grade....we literally walked over a ready made bridge that had a kiddie pool full of water underneath it.....I'll never forget it!
These girls got to walk across an actual BRIDGE with a LAKE under it!
Congrats, JULES! Love you!

Who's missing from this picture????

Poor David...

You may have noticed that my sweet nephew DAVID was missing from the Bridging Ceremony...15 minutes before the ceremony started, David broke his arm! Lynn was getting ready for the ceremony, and was disrupted by a stranger delivering her sweet David to her with his little arm just dangling by his side! This is the SAME ARM he broke 3 years ago, bless his heart! He was walking along a high wall and fell. Never a dull moment with all these little boys!

A MARVELOUS Mother's Day...

I awoke to 4 sweet boys singing "Happy Mother's Day to You...." and they showered me with awesome gifts. A handmade framed picture from Sam, a "coupon book" consisting of things like "one free hug" and "one free lunch made by me" from Max, and a sweet picture and poem from Luke. Luke then proceeded to sing me a song about Mothers (SO sweet). They all gave me a bag full of my favorite things....licorice, a HUGE Hersheys bar, a diet coke and a People magazine. Perfect.
We enjoyed an awesome morning at church, then headed over to the Rasmussen's for a nice celebration!

Our SWEET Star...Luke Webb!

This was a MAJOR heart string TUG tonight! Sweet Luke has been taking piano lessons from Grandma Joan! He has had a total of 2 lessons, and has learned his first SONG...Merrily We Roll Along - he was SO excited that he actually could play a SONG! He saw the posters for the Talent Show all over the school, and 4 days ago (very confidently I might add), he came up to me and stated, "Mom, I really want to do the talent show, I know a SONG!" This SONG lasted a total of 10 seconds. So, Luke and I put our heads together and decided to play it through TWICE, and the second time he sang along with it! He was SO excited, and practiced at least 10 times a day leading up to the show. The night before (at bedtime mind you), he came up to Rich (very confidently again, I might add) and stated, "Dad, I really want to wear a shirt, tie, nice pants and nice shoes tomorrow." Rich had him in the car, and to Kohl's faster than I could say, "That's a great idea!"
We were so touched by the fact our shy, introvert, follower, Luke, was coming up with all these ideas on his own! Bless his heart, it was a precious experience!

Here he is waiting his turn...

And here is our sweet star, Luke Webb, performing "Merrily We Roll Along"
(try to block out the background noise...it was Art Gallery Night as well!)

My little Picasos....

We enjoyed seeing the boys' art work displayed at Art Gallery Night...
