Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!

We had a special night celebrating Mom and Dad's 45th wedding anniversary!
Mom is in Ohio with Aunt Gail supporting and loving her while she battles ovarian cancer. So, Dad decided to take Lynn and I out for a special dinner at DC Steakhouse in Downtown Chandler....YUM. Bitter sweet and special night with our Daddy....

I had all my nieces (minus Sarah and Rachel who live in Minnesota!!!) together for a fun
GIRLS ONLY NIGHT....

We made crafts....hair bows and necklaces!

We had yummy PIZZA and JUNK FOOD and watched the Judy Moody movie...

We played JUST DANCE...

And we all snuggled up together to sleep!

Such a special night with my sweet girls....

Luke and I had such a great time at the Broadway Palms Dinner Theatre with his class! We got to see Nutcracker the Musical. It was so fun to be with Luke and all his sweet friends.

JA BizTown....Citizen of the Day!

Max was chosen as the CEO of the Wellness Clinic...here he is giving his speech at the Town Hall Meeting at the beginning of the day

Guess who was voted CITIZEN OF THE DAY of all of BIZTOWN?! So proud of Max!!!

Junior Achivements JA BizTown is a place where students run a town for a day. It is small and is part of the junior achievement non profit organization. It gives 5th graders and 6th graders a chance to learn real world money saving skills. They fill positions like CEO, CFO, Mayor, sales manager, IRS agent, Reporter, stock manager, shop owners, contractors, builders, cashiers, lawyers, and many other real world jobs. There is a lot of studying before the experience happens. They learn how to write checks and take out a loan and invest in a business. They learn separate lessons on the economy and how the business industry works. When students get to JA BizTown they are put straight to work. They have a goal of 100 dollars to turn in at the end of the day
