He made it into the Golden Scholars for his Junior High. Daniel was chosen to represent the 7th grade as the class speaker. He gave a speech on character.....he was wonderful!

A sweet surprise...

"Do you have plans for Saturday night? I think I have a fun idea.....kind of a surprise! Nothing fancy....in fact, wear your grubbies!!!!"

This is all I knew....she picked me up at 6:00 and we drove to the park by my house and we had a special picnic together!

It was so fun to eat, drink, chat and celebrate our awesome friendship!!!

Sniff sniff....Preschool is over for the year! Sam has had an amazing year with Mrs. Poates at Kids Discovery Club Christian Preschool! SO glad we get to go there again next year!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

What a way to wake up......4 sweet boys entering the room with breakfast and presents singing "Happy Mother's Day to YOU...."......My day started off perfectly with sweet cards and gifts from my boys!

After a great morning at church, I was off to lunch at Z' Tejas with my mom and sis! We enjoyed some margaritas, yummy Mexican, and great conversation!

We then headed to the Rasmussen's for some more Mother's Day FUN!

They did it again! The Rasmussen's (and their home school friends) put on an EXCELLENT production of
"Harlow Doyle:Private Eye and the Case of the Missing Faith"
They started the evening with a wonderful recital...

Annika sweetly played and sang a Taylor Swift song!

Kirsten (accompanied by her teacher, Grandma Joan) played so beautifully!

My Mommy Makeover

Sam made me look SO beautiful at my Mommy Makeover!

He loved applying my make up...

I LOVED my foot and leg massage...

He made me a beautiful necklace...

and a lovely crown...

Natalie did such a good job with her mommy...

and Aiden made his mommy look beautiful, too...

After a lovely snack, they sang sweet songs to us...

Sam was so proud of his finished product...

Spendin' the night....spendin' the night....

So, my sister and I have made up a song called "Spendin' the Night" because every time we are together with the kids, the first thing they ask is, "Can we spend the night?"
Well.....they got their major sleepover this past weekend! Lynn and Bryce went on a much needed vacation with their good friends to Vegas, and we had the ultimate sleepover with the Bragelmans....pretty much what my boys consider Heaven!
