The Warriors are the Champions!!!!

My nephew, Daniel's basketball team (the Warriors) are the CHAMPIONS!!
They won the YMCA Summer Basketball Tournament!!!
It was an exciting season of basketball!
Daniel is such a great basketball player, and it is so much fun to watch him and cheer him on!!!

A Special Night!

Tonight was our first meeting of the year for our homegroup! We have been in this group for 3 years and we are so blessed to have such a loving, close church family that we can"live life together" :)

An added bonus is that I had an opportunity to share my faith, and have a believer's baptism! It was a special night :)

Tim Keller gave a great talk explaining what baptism represents...that it is an outward display of my love for Christ and not a means of salvation. The bible states that salvation is gained only through a relationship with Christ.

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, LUKE!

Today is my sweet Lukie's birthday! We started the day with Luke running into Rich's arms declaring, "I GROWED! LOOK AT HOW MUCH TALLER I AM!" Then he proceeded to show us how much higher he could jump and how much faster he could run now that he is 5.....

We had the breakfast table all ready to celebrate...

He got to open some cards and a gift from Granna and Grandpa!
5 candles in his blueberry waffles!
He blew them all out in one breath!
Off to school with the very famous "snack bucket" - he got to bring cupcakes today!

Luke had so much fun celebrating with his friends at school! He loved bringing in chocolate "Kung Fu Panda" cupcakes complete with a ring the kids got to bring home!

Luke got to share with the class all about the day he was born! He told them when he was born, where he was born, how big he was, and why his parents chose his name!

Then he got to show a picture of himself as a baby!
I took the boys to SONIC for a special treat after school....
What did mommy and daddy get you...... A WEBKINZ!!!!

He got a black bear and named him "Blackie"

He got him all "logged in" and had fun playing!

Then we were off to PETER PIPER PIZZA to celebrate some more!

Luke did awesome at the basketball game!
